Early Childhood Nutrition Adventure Program!
'Be Curious'
Are you an educator with a passion for health and wellbeing?
Are you looking for highly engaging experiences for your children?
Do you have minimal time to create learning experiences yourself?

The 'Be Curious' Early Childhood Nutrition Adventure Program is for you! This is an easy-to-follow program that empowers Early Childhood Educators to support children's growth in learning about food. Early exposure to a range of foods helps build a foundation for wellness in children. Through the explicitly outlined learning experiences, children and educators can explore foods in a hands-on, engaging and non-pressuring way, bringing a positive connection to food experiences. All activities can be differentiated to suit a range of early childhood ages and abilities.

The program is based around full engagement of the senses, focusing on active participation and language development. The program steps educators through a sequence of
'Little Learner Quests' combining the use of children's senses with a literacy, numeracy, science and arts-based approach, appealing to all styles of learners.

The 'Be Curious' program includes full implementation support through Professional Development sessions for your whole staff group, or a 'Train the Trainer' approach can be taken. The focus of the program is on encouraging children to 'Be Curious' in a safe and support environment. The 'Be Curious' program' provides a place where children can take 'safe risks' to experience new things and learn more about the world around them in the space of nutrition, but to also take these curious learnings out to the bigger world.

The 'Be Curious' Early Childhood Education Program allows educators to take on an intentional teaching approach to build on where each child is at. Critical reflection is a key aspect of the program to ensure that teaching practices are reviewed in detail, bringing a continuous process of engagement.
Family and community connections are integrated throughout the program as a collaborate approach to learning and development.
